THE BAND
BALLAST got started in a San Diego garage back in 2003 - four guys with day jobs, an old PA and a shared opinion that the best songs from the 60s, 70s and 80s never went anywhere. Two decades later, the hair's thinner and the knees creak, but the amps still crank it out.
We play the songs that you grew up on - from Stones and Doors to soul, pop, blues and new wave favorites. You'll find us at San Diego dive bars, beach town taverns, and more than a few backyard parties from La Jolla to Encinitas.
BRING THE BAND TO YOUR PARTY
Birthday bashes, anniversary parties, backyard weddings, corporate nights, or just a Tuesday that needs turning up - if there's room for a drum kit and a power outlet, we'll play it. Booking San Diego and all of SoCal.
